Since 2010, Brian has been the President and Chief Consultant of AuditWest, Inc..,  an information security consultancy specializing in IT audit, digital forensics, and vulnerability and penetration testing. Brian has been in the information security industry for more than 25 years, and delivers a wealth of technical information. Beginning his career with the US Air Force, he has since worked with several multinational firms in an information security and risk management consulting capacity.  Brian’s primary expertise is in penetration testing, risk assessment and management, IT audit, computer forensics, and incident response.  He has performed and managed penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, and IT audits for small, medium, and enterprise class businesses including a Fortune 50 company, large universities, power company/public utility and hundreds of regional and community banks and credit unions.  Brian is also certified in computer forensics and regularly trains organizations on incident response. Throughout his career, he has designed, implemented, and managed Cisco and Microsoft based infrastructures, security infrastructures including intrusion detection and prevention systems, firewalls, VPNs, and data center environments.
